Yes I'm finally safe and sound in Canada. Thank the moons too <<;..... I will never fly United Airlines again. I get charged fifteen bucks fto check my bags, then I when I get to Chicago we had (no surprise here!) thunderstorms....

That was friggin awesome(sarcasm)...I honestly thought everything was gunna be hunky-dory, the initial takeoff from Chicago to Vancouver was delayed due to rain for a good 20 minutes. I had time to get a bite to eat and use the restrooms. Then they delayed mah flight for about an hour thanks to the impending thunder. I called Cari with the news....There was talk that they were gunna cancel the flight....honestly I'd feel better if they had considering my future circumstances. (Thanks for the offer April, it's good to have friends XD; )

After an hour or so, they started boarding.....we preped for take off, started our way on the runway, then the plane stopped. The storms came back and we were on the damned plane for three hours(!) before we actually got to take off.It's not fun being stuck in a damned plane for three hours with no food or elbowroom....

Once we were cleared for take off I felt better. Then it got awwweesome...(sarcasm)

They weren't serving any type of food on the flight...just stupid little snack boxes, with chips and nuts and the like. They weren't even complimentary, we needed a damned credit card. Suffice to say I always carry cash and I don't have a real 'credit' card. I have a bank card with nothing on it at this moment.

The drinks were free though, so I had a few cups of coffee to try and shoot my nerves down. Thanks to our wonderful delays I missed my flight out to Nanaimo. And I was thusly stuck in the Vancouver terminal for about 11 hours...

Spending the night in a terminal sucks.....nothings open.....I was lucky to find a Subway in the midst of closing time. So I had some food, that was the best part. I got my flight re-booked and proceeded to call Cari again, and take a nap on some terminal chairs XD;....

It's a good thing I had my DSi too, otherwise I'd have been very bored XD;...But yeah, I'd have felt better if they just canceled the flight from Chicago. I have a friend who lives in the area who had offered to help me out if I had any trouble...then I'd just rebook all my flights and had a place to stay . Thanks again for the offer April!

But yes, after all is said and done I'm happy as hell to be in a house with a bed with food....bad back aside...

Now I just need to get rid of these pre-wedding butterflies.

So yeah after this I'm giving Cari a big hug. So fuck the internet for now, I'll be back whenever I feel like it.

So yeah, if you all remember, it was Valentines Day of last year that I proposed to the love of my life. Well we are finally tying the knot on April 30th, 2009. Our five year anniversary!

I know its rather soon, and I'm really excited! The decision stems from an impulse I had in January. Not too long after Christmas, Cari and I started looking into beggining my process of immigration. We didn't get very far...I found alot of the 'official' sites on the interweb to be most unhelpful on where to start. I took a quiz on one of the sites and it said I wasn't qualified to immigrate. It seems the options were rather limited, though I saw that there was a sponsorship plan for married couples...

We put two and two together. Thus MAWWAGE! (watch The Princess Bride, it's AWESOME!)

It's only going to be a small/civil ceremony, but I kinda like it that way. Plus we can always renew our vows and have a bigger ceremony once I'm settled up north. I've still got work to do though....I need a good but affordable suit/tux to wear. If anyone knows a good place, I'm up to any recommendations.

But yeah.....the first anniversary we get to spend together will be one of the ones we remember forever...

Isn't that a bitch?

Okay not really...it's good to be alive! The economy sucks, but my job is still kicking. I've been really-rediculously frugal as of late. Skipping lunches at work, not wasting gas and the like. It's nice to have money.

Only five days till Street Fighter IV! OMG this game is going to rawk my socks off. I don't usually get THIS antsy for a video game, it is just as bad as when Super Smash Brothers Brawl came out last year! It's getting rave reviews, it's sold out in Japan, and Gamestop apparently has a bunch of copies save for mine. That's what I get for reserving the 'Collectors Edition', $79.99 of pure excellence. But ohhhhh weeellllll. I can has patience plox.

....Damn being happy doesn't make for good conversation. I need conflict! Is it bad that I am asking for trouble? I guess if I don't update for a while it's because I'm okay with everything. So yeah....later!
